I am sure you never heard of it before because you are so used to hearing about the big names like Wix, Shopify, Squarespace, or even Big Cartel. However, those sites might look affordable but things add up in that app store when it comes to adding on what is needed for you to have a successful shop . Now... if you have an advanced shop then use Shopify. This is where my brand is as far as Haircredible, especially being that I am in retail stores. But if you are starting out and you have a small boutique, jewelry, nothing bulky or heavy, then you should def check out Strikingly.
Pros: I looveeeeeee that you can have DIGITAL PRODUCTS AND VIDEOS to sell on your "simple store". I looked at other website platforms and although they are easy and affordable.. they was taking out 5% or more for every digital product bought. NO NO baby I need my coins!! I also hate that I had to take them to a 3rd party. The goal is for you to stay ON my site... not keep getting off! Strikingly takes NADA! Nothing! Zip! Umkay! Yea... i likes that.
They have a FREE99 plan! FREE! ... However I upgraded to a pro site so that i can take advantage of the perks which you can check out on their pricing page. Now... in 2021 building a personal brand is essential when building a business brand and the fact that I got THREE WEBSITES FOR THE PRICE OF ONE spoke to my soul. Yes you heard me... you can have a personal site, business site with your store, and a site for your mama or kids! AHHKAY! Oh... Let's not forget the FREE DOMAIN. They plan has a $8 dollars a month one and you get 2 sites with that! I have pro but even that I pay $16 a month to run 3 sites. Like... come on! I also can't brag enought about the customer service because baby for them to only offer chat... THEY ARE ON POINT!
Cons: What I dont like is that they are still upgrading this hosting platform and they dont have a print on demand integration, drop shipping if that is what you want to do, or where you can print your shipping labels directily on the site. With this site... you have to take their info out your store if using usps and type it in manually or download a file and just upload to the usp or usps site. If your not getting hundreds of orders that shouldnt be a problem. The good thing is... if you see a little detail that you want.. chat with them and they will help you out in the matter of seconds! Its crazy! I love it! No waiting for your number to come up or wait at all! 24/7 SUPPORT!
